Hi there! I’m Dr. Lindsay Montoya, DNP, PMHNP-BC — a psychiatric nurse practitioner, trauma-informed therapist, and founder of Illuminaura Resilience Coaching.

I created this course to help people move beyond endless coping strategies and finally feel safe, steady, and connected in their own bodies. After working with hundreds of clients struggling with anxiety and overwhelm, I realized that true healing doesn’t happen through willpower alone — it starts with learning to regulate your nervous system at its core.

My approach combines evidence-based techniques from neuroscience, somatic practices, and gentle mind-body tools, all delivered in a supportive and accessible way.

I’m here to help you build real, lasting calm — not by forcing yourself to "just relax," but by learning to trust your body and create an inner foundation of resilience.

I realized one day, after years of working one-on-one with clients in therapy and providing crisis stabilization in hospitals, that no matter how deeply I cared or how many hours I devoted, I could only help a limited number of people each week. I kept hearing the same struggles, the same yearning to feel safe and steady in their own bodies — and I knew so many more people needed access to these tools.

That’s when it hit me: my true impact doesn’t have to be confined to the therapy couch or be reduced to medication management. By creating self-guided courses based on everything I’ve learned over my 12 years in the mental health field, I can reach and support countless more people, no matter where they live or what their schedule looks like.
